Work experiences can help you find out what goes on in a workplace from day-to-day. High School/High Tech work-based experiences include site visits, job shadowing, volunteering, internships, self-employment ventures and paid summer employment.

Youth Venture - Youth Venture provides youth ages 12-20 with the tools necessary to create civic-minded organizations, as well as access to resources for networking, media opportunities, and seed capital.

Teen Workers - This site provides safety and health information for and about the teen worker, also provides for valuable links to other youth employment sites.

Mind Your Own Business - A joint venture between Small Business Administration and Junior Achievement, this site provides information and guidance for youth who are interested in starting their own business.

AAAS Entry Point - An internship program sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, this program offers internship opportunities for college students with disabilities majoring in science, engineering, technology, or math.
