Vision & Mission of the High School / High Tech Leadership Consortium

The High School High Tech Leadership Consortium was convened in 2004 as the oversight and steering body to assure that design features were incorporated and partnerships were established to implement the design features.  Following are the original Vision and Mission of the Consortium:

VISION

All Maryland students with disabilities will acquire the knowledge, skills and support necessary to access and advance in careers in the technology-driven global economy.

MISSION

To expand the horizons, opportunities and employment potential of students with disabilities through the development of a statewide, sustainable High School/High Tech program that incorporates the evidence-based design features of Preparatory Experiences, Connecting Activities, Work-Based Experiences, and Youth Development and Leadership.
