Lower Shore Enterprises
Lower Shore Enterprises, in collaboration with the Eastern Shore Business Leadership Network and staff of Wicomico County Public Schools, held an Open House in June at the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce. Information on DORS and High School/High Tech was on hand, along with a Power Point presentation designed by one of their High School/High Tech students.
With the solid backing of the local Chamber of Commerce and Business Leadership Network, Lower Shore Enterprises will start its first High School/High Tech Program in September. Enrollment is building for a program that promises workshops, field trips to colleges and paid internships. A number of local high tech employers have already committed to the program and to providing for the paid internships.
