Parent Testimonials

An instructor helps a young woman at a computer.

"High School/HighTech was a wonderful, exciting experience for my son, Dave. He met people who were so interested in who is he is as a person and what his dreams are for the future. He learned that people with disabilities can do all types of work. During his summer work experience, Dave worked at NASA at Goddard Space Flight Center where he learned how to machine instruments for the Space Shuttle. How great is that?!"
- Josie Thomas, parent of former High School/High Tech student

"It was good to see that Abby can do college level work, and do well at it. . . The [High School/High Tech] internship [experience] was wonderful.  I don't think I've ever seen Abby as happy and relaxed as she was while working at NASA. She has dreamed of working at NASA since she was very young, and she was very comfortable, happy, and productive there." - Karen Reznek, parent of University of Maryland High School/High Tech student
