4. Post-Secondary Accommodations

Explore post-secondary accommodations.

Students who receive academic programming and support in high school through IEPs and 504 plans will not automatically have the same support after they graduate. When you and your young adult son or daughter attend a prospective school, visit the campus’ Disability Service Office to find out how to document your student’s disability; ask if you can talk to other students and parents about their experiences; and ask about what accommodations are available.
